Each spring the Rhode Island chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives offers an environmental scan of health care in our state. This event took place on Thursday, May 18, 2017.
Marianne Raimondo, PhD, MS, MSW, LICSW, assistant professor and director of the healthcare administration program at Rhode Island College, provided the keynote presentation, which highlighted state initiatives aimed at delivery system transformation, at-risk managed care contracts, workforce development initiatives, the mental health crisis, utilization and financial trends, and activities in the nation's capitol.
