The Rhode Island and Massachusetts chapters of ACHE are pleased to offer a one day, intense seminar that is designed to prepare you to take and pass the Board of Governors Exam, including reviewing core content and likely examination questions.

The seminar will cover all ten sections of the Board of Governors Exam: finance, governance and organizational structure, quality and performance improvement, law and regulations, management, human resources, healthcare technology and information management, professionalism and ethics, healthcare and business.

As an independent chartered Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, ACHE-RI is authorized to award 8.0 hours of ACHE Qualified Education credit toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program who wish to have it considered for ACHE Qualified Education credit should list their attendance when they apply to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification.

Paula Zalucki is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, having earned her board certification in 1992. She has had an active role in the College, having served as both a Regent for the Greater DFW area from 2004-2007, and served as Chapter President for ACHE of North Texas in 2006. She has also served on several national committees, including the Chapter Committee during the period that the College transformed the chapter model.Â
Â
Ms. Zalucki has earned the distinction of Exemplary Service for ACHE, the highest level of volunteer service in recognition of her participation in both governance and educational programs for the College. She was among the first 13 people to earn this distinction.Â
Â
Ms. Zalucki has been a healthcare executive for nearly three decades, having roles in physician practice management, strategic planning, marketing and operations at numerous hospitals and health care organizations in Texas, Georgia and Florida. She has founded her own consulting firm, specializing in healthcare strategy, and now serves as a Senior Managing Consultant with Berkeley Research Group within their Physician Practice Management team.Â
Â
Ms. Zalucki holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, and an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. She lives in Jupiter, FL, close to the beach where it is summer all year round.Â
