The Regents-at-Large, have been contacting their respective Regents and ACHE Chapters to assist in securing host sites for the Summer Enrichment Program (SEP). The SEP is an internship program that places diverse (inclusive of race, ethnicity, language preference, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation, veteran status, religion and socioeconomic factors) graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in healthcare administration or a related field in 10-week, paid internships at healthcare organizations across the country. Take a leadership role in helping to advance diverse healthcare executives be successful.
As of February 15, ACHE has secured four host sites.

-Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital, Dixon, IL and American College of Healthcare Executives, Chicago, IL
-Iowa VA, Iowa City, IA

The Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) places diverse graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in healthcare administration or a related field in 10-week, paid internships at healthcare organizations across the country. Since 1994, Institute for Diversity (IFD) has placed more than 1,200 individuals in SEP internships at some of the nation’s leading hospitals and health systems. Many former SEP participants now hold senior management and board positions at organizations nationwide. The SEP is administered by IFD and co-promoted by ACHE.
