The American College of Healthcare Executives Rhode Island Chapter (ACHE-RI) recently held its annual meeting at the New England Institute of Technology.
Several members of ACHE-RI received awards, including:
-Ann Rubino, FACHE, vice president of physician practices, South County Health—Senior Careerist Award
-Michael Souza, president, Hospital Association of Rhode Island—Career Achievement Award
The ACHE annual meeting, co-sponsored by the Hospital Association of Rhode Island, also included the Chapter’s year in review, a look ahead at events and opportunities in 2017, an introduction of the 2017 board of directors, and social networking among members.
The membership thanked Jennifer Tomasik, SM, FACHE, vice president and principal, CFAR, for her leadership and commitment to the chapter while serving as president from 2015 to 2017. Ann Rubino began service as the chapter’s president and outlined goals for the coming year. The chapter will focus on advancing members to fellowship status, engaging new members and early careerists, diversifying membership, and enhancing educational and networking opportunities.
