Regent’s Message: Winter 2025
A Message from your ACHE Rhode Island Chapter Regent
Dear Members of the ACHE-RI Community,
Happy New Year and welcome to 2025. I want to first recognize and thank Christa Durand, MBA, FACHE, who has transitioned from ACHE-RI Regent effective February 1st for her unwavering dedication and leadership to the chapter. I’m looking forward to serving as the interim regent for ACHE-RI.
2025 is off to an exciting start for ACHE-RI as we hosted our annual meeting in East Greenwich, Rhode Island on January 30th. We had over 50 healthcare leaders from across Rhode Island and New England in attendance. On behalf of the ACHE-RI Board of Directors, I want to thank our amazing moderator, Dr. John Polk and panelists, Cindy Peterson, Dr. Kevin Baill, and Melanie Marco for their interactive discussion on “Resilience in the Workplace”. I also want to recognize our immediate past president Dan McGuire for being awarded the 2025 ACHE-RI Regent Leadership Award. Dan has been a dedicated President to ACHE-RI for the past two years and we are grateful for his service.
We look forward to seeing you at a future ACHE-RI Event
