Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the Rhode Island Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives website! ACHE-RI is the local independent chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) for the state of Rhode Island.  We are one of the smallest chapters in the nation- we are small but mighty!

Our mission is to be the premier professional organization in Rhode Island and its surrounding areas for healthcare leaders; to advance healthcare leadership and management excellence; to meet members’ professional, educational, and leadership needs; to promote high ethical standards; and to promote and support the mission of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

In 2017, we have an ambitious strategic plan which focuses on continuing to add value through well-planned and executed educational and networking events; engaging new members in the services of the Chapter; fostering ways to support those individuals who wish to attain their fellow credential; and  developing new ways to communicate the value of ACHE to our members.

It’s an exciting and challenging time to be involved in healthcare leadership, and ACHE-RI committed to providing a forum for advancement and excellence within our profession.  I highly encourage you to  actively engage and participate in our Chapter with its very eclectic membership that expands beyond traditional hospital administrators.  During our numerous networking events, you may engage with health leaders from various health disciplines – physicians, nurses, administrators, payers, long-term care leaders, medical suppliers, consultants, healthcare management students and the list goes on…

ACHE-RI is a valuable resource for continued education in our field, along with networking and mentoring. On that note, I would encourage you to attend our next educational or networking event and ask you to invite a colleague that you’re mentoring; who you feel would like to share the ACHE experience.  If you are not yet a member of ACHE, I’d encourage you to visit Join ACHE.  By joining ACHE, you receive free membership to the Rhode Island Chapter.  Opportunities also exist for members to join specialized communities such as the Physician Executives Forum created for physician leaders in management roles, and the Healthcare Consultants Forum exclusively designed for healthcare consultants by offering resources tailored to their unique career development needs.

I  hope you will peruse all the information on this website and choose to join us at our next event! We welcome your support and contributions!

All my best,

Ann Rubino, MPH, FACHE
